The art in this exhibition was created by young artists from Oxfordshire as part of "Our Lives, Our Futures: Art and dialogue about what matters to children and young people", an online event hosted by the Children and Young People Network at Oxford Brookes University

Children were invited to create pieces of art that reflected something that really mattered to them, and they responded with the wonderfully varied and vibrant pieces that you see in this exhibition. The Children and Young People Network members are committed to working with young people, and the children's artwork will play an important role in helping us understand what matters to children and young people.

We wish to express heartfelt thanks to the teachers and children from the two schools which took part, Oxford High School and St Aloysius' Catholic Primary School.

We are also hugely grateful to Oxford Brookes University Fine Art students, Izzy Reeve, George Fitzsimons and Laura Smith, who curated the artwork and created this online exhibition, and to Bob Pomfret and Lisa Hill for photography.

If you would like to comment on any of the artwork you are very welcome to add to our virtual visitor's book.
